Vision & Mission
The vision and mission for Good Hope is to do to the work of the ministry, preach and teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ and have a heart and compassion for people regardless of race, color or socioeconomic level.
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim release to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed. Luke 4:18
This ministry seeks to provide food for the hungry, drink to those who are thirsty, clothing for the naked, and give visitation to the sick and imprisoned.
For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me. Matthew 25:35-36
As Jesus reached out to those who were in despair and destitute, it is our Mission to reach out to the drug addict, homeless, hungry, unwed parents, rejected, and those who have lost hope in life. Proclaiming that with God First, all of life's ills can be healed.
We are Christ-centered, Faith-based, and Kingdom-minded. "Therefore go make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you, always, to the end of the world." -Matthew 28:19-20,
